Short History
Greg's TV career and training began with the South African Broadcast Corporation (SABC), covering news but shooting and editing sports, arts, social and environmental inserts as well.
After 10 years service he resigned as a Senior News Cameraman / Editor.
Greg covered the release of Nelson Mandela for WTN and worked for Associated Press, was contracted to ITN Channel 4 News as a multi-skilled Cameraman/Editor covering stories such as the Rwanda Genocide and Tamil Tigers. From earthquakes in Kobe Japan, conflict in Taiwan and Afghanistan, to economic stories in China he has traveled extensively.
Greg's passion for the natural world, combined with the above-mentioned actuality experience and his creative eye has for the past 25 years led to him working for leading international production companies and broadcasters as a Wildlife Director of Photography.
Greg's passion for the natural world, combined with the above-mentioned actuality experience and his creative eye has for the past 25 years led to him working for leading international production companies and broadcasters as a Wildlife Director of Photography.
He has honed his skill on the long lens, experienced at macro, high speed and underwater camera. Greg is also well experienced at set dressing and shooting primarily, snakes and insects as well as fish tank work.
